"it has become a slough, a 'thing,'
but the death of atoms,
unlike ours, is never irrevocable."
Primo Levi
My struggle is to see the inherent poetry in all matter. Stone and Metal particularly speak to me as reverters of each other. Stone struggles to contain its metal and once it is evoked; metal is constantly trying to revert. The refinement of either is only a temporary separation. My works depict at once this struggle within the ore and the way it utters to passersby.
I am a professor and a practitioner of architecture, Adjunct Professor at Augsburg and Dean at Vesper College, and most proud of my title as sculptor.
