artist's statement
I am inspired by the beauty of an object and the magic of the design when more than one object is grouped together; bringing new life into the castaways of our industry, culture and personal lives. I work with each piece with great care and determination until I feel that it is once again, a complete subject of importance.
As an artist, I fell in love with the diversity sculpture brings. Being able to work with the smooth and textured glass, the rough but strong steel and the constant stability of the stone, is what gives me the inspiration to create art.
Circles, are a re-acurring theme throughout my art , they represent to me, an everlasting and never ending statement, that everyone can find beauty in all things throughout our world, if they are willing to explore.
