LET'S TANGO

The waterfront district of Buenos Aires was the birthplace of the Argentine tango in the latter part of the 19th century. Perhaps the most sensual of all dances, the tango is frequently referred to as the" three-minute love affair."
The styles are mostly danced in either open embrace, where lead and follow connect at arms length, or close embrace, where the lead and follow connect chest-to-chest. This sculpture captures the spirit of the dance, and you can almost feel the couple gliding across the floor.
