Originally I am from the canyon lands of the Southwest. I began my art study at the Institute of American Indian Arts, Santa Fe, New Mexico. After receiving my diploma from their high school art program, I traveled to Europe to study art and culture as an ambassador from New Mexico.
In 1985 I completed my BFA degree, at the San Francisco Art Institute and continued my MFA program there.
I have been exploring oil painting, stone carving, jewelry and most recently clay.
I came to Winona, Minnesota to work in ceramics in 2010. I have been working for the past year and a half in the clay processes at the Rivertown Pottery studio in Winona, Minnesota. I came to the Midwest from northeastern Arizona where I worked as a rancher, stone carver, jeweler and painter.
