I am inspired by Scripture, as I read a verse or hear someone speak on Scripture, I envision what that would look like, and have this strong desire to sculpt it. As I have done this, people have been deeply moved, to tears, or laughter. Time and time again I am amazed at the response to what I create. As a result, I've learned the value and importance to continue to create more pieces, so others will have an experience, a touch, a moment.
Each piece I create, I am about to go into something new, I am going through transformation & breakthrough, or it's something that is near, coming on the horizon. These works speak of my testimony for sure, but it's also others testimony as well and I believe my sculptures release change and healing to those that see them. Though it's a collaborative effort, I of course do not take credit for this, it's of the Lord doing and to Him be the glory for the way He touches people through my artwork.
