Commissioned by the Hutchinson Police Department for the Law Enforcement Memorial Park. Dedicated October 20, 2014. Sargent Joe Nagel had a vision 10 years prior to it's completion for a park to honor all law enforcement personnel in general with special consideration for those who have been severely wounded or killed in the line of duty. 2014 was the 25th anniversary of Mike Hogan's ultimate sacrifice and thus the dedication date of the park. The bronze sculpture casts a shadow, the SST portal casts a light image of the officer...this represents the ever vigilant, 24 hour per day dedication of our officers.
